Skorpo
Early morning on Skorpo, an island in the Hardanger fjord. Uskedalen and Englafjell in the background.
This is from a film that I developed yesterday. The next frames were made later that day. We went to another island in another fjord to have lunch. That island was a true paradise! I couldn’t decide on what pictures to publish, or in what order, so that post has to wait until I’ve thought it through.
Oh, and happy New Year, everyone!

Thank you, and the same to you and yours! I look very much forward to see what you will create this year.
There are places in the world I imagine only in color. Morroco and Iceland, for example, are both of those places. I know this is wrong but in my head this is how I imagine Iceland, but I am happy to see that someone has a totaly different approach. Cheers.
I think you are right; Iceland calls for colour, at least in summer. 98% of my colour films are frome Icelandic summers. But when the days are short, the people gloomy and the gale from the Greenlandic ice is at its coldest, it loses its colour and becomes gray and dull. That’s the black and white Iceland that I love. Thanks for your comment!
