The first time I ever set an f-stop, was in 2001. I used a Ricoh 500GX rangefinder loaded with black-and-white film in the darkest time of year in Reykjavík, Iceland. I kept firing the shutter all winter. The Ricoh broke down after half a year, but I continued with other tools. I haven’t managed to stop shooting since.
It’s time to share some of the frames I’ve made.
